The latest update of Graficto introduced a feature that allows you to create your own infographic easily using AI. Before creating a custom infographic, it’s best to familiarize yourself with the basic concepts of how Graficto AI works.

  • Graficto’s integrated AI generates content related to the topic you input
  • Based on that topic, Graficto AI creates content tailored to your selected template, including relevant text and icons

This process eliminates the need to worry about content and icon selection—how cool is that? Let’s now dive into how to use Graficto AI.


Creating an Infographic Using AI

1From the Graficto dashboard, Click Create a Graphic. You will be taken to the Templates page.

2 Graficto offers templates of various types, depending on what you want to create. If you have something in mind, select the relevant category from the sidebar or from the top of the Templates page.

3 Browse the templates and find a one you like. When you hover the mouse cursor over a thumbnail, you’ll get the option to preview the template. 

4Once you’ve found a suitable template, hover over the thumbnail and click Use. This will create a new visual using the template and you will taken to the Graficto editor.

5Select Side Toolbar → Generate to open the Generate Panel in the editor.


Generating Infographics with Content


1Enter the topic you want to create an infographic about. For example, "Simple Steps to Start a Business." Hint: Try to narrow down your topic for better results. You can even paste some already written text if you want to create an infographic based on that. But there's a limit of 512 maximum characters.

2Select the number of items you want to generate. Remember, the maximum value depends on the maximum item count allowed by your selected template.

3If you’re happy with your input, click Generate with AI. Your visual will be generated in few seconds according to your input topic.


4Edit Your Content: If you want to adjust the generated content, go to the Items Panel. Here, you can make changes as needed. For more details about editing your visual, check out this article: Editing Your Visual.
